Originally published in Chisto Healy’s Splatology 3.0., The New Babysitter is what happens when you leave your kids at home.

An ode to the family dog, Something’s Wrong With Max was originally published under the now defunct Unveiling Nightmares Press in 2024. Written, edited, and published in less than two weeks, read this if you like grief and body horror.

Originally written in 2018 by a 17 year old Becker, the Soil Of God is body horror surrounding the deterioration of a man through drug abuse.

A reverse chronological take on suicide inspired by Travis Hill, memento, and Irreversible, For We Are Many was written at the end of 2018, published in 2020, and turned into a film in early 2022. The film was dedicated to his cousin, Sydney, who took her own life.

Written and published in mid to late 2020, The Egg is about a woman who discovers that she is pregnant. The beauty of childbirth becomes much less beautiful when her child is revealed not to be a child at all, but a strange, alien egg that seems to be driving her every action. THE EGG is a horrific and hopeless journey into maternal instinct, depression, obsession, and loneliness.

Written in 2018 but published in mid 2020, Seventh Circle is an example of Becker escaping the confines of the horror genre. It centers around Michael, an awkward university student. He is lonely, socially anxious, and has no experience talking to members of the opposite sex. Michael is introduced to Mia, who is everything he could ever want. She is energetic, exciting, passionate, and much unlike him, massively experienced. Michael’s life changes as he falls madly in love with Mia, feeling the passion burn within him; it threatens to swallow him whole, but as time goes on, Michael realizes things are not what they seem to be.

Inspired by a family member’s overdose, New York Onions was written in 2016, put onto Wattpad where it went viral, published in Atlantis Creative Magazine in 2019, then published again in Atlantis in mid 2022. It exists also as an audiobook. Jessica buys onions every single day with money from under her mattress, then she paints, before finally passing out. New York Onions is a short adventure into surrealism and loneliness. Originally, New York Onions was published on Wattpad and became “featured” by the website itself, amassing tens of thousands of readers and dozens of glowing reviews, before finally finding a home in its publication with Atlantis: A Creative Magazine.

Written in 2016, The Black Box is about a boy in a midwestern town who gets into the business of mowing lawns. Quickly, he encounters a seedy underbelly of his local town. It is also featured in Grey Skies as a bonus short story.

The White Shade is the edge-lord chronicle and also the first short story released by William. Written in early 2015 when Becker was just 14, it’s a story of an Everyman who works at a supermarket and discovers the wonders of snuff films.
